We’re launching the Phantom to the public soon, and based on all your feedback, we’re making a few meaningful upgrades. We don’t want our early backers to miss out on any of these improvements — that’s why we created this Upgrade Kit. It includes the precision enhancements that make your Phantom smoother, more airtight, more reliable, and more solid in hand — exactly the way you helped shape it.

Inside the kit, you’ll find:

Sealing Stickers

A tiny but mighty upgrade. These help create an even more airtight seal inside the mechanism—minimizing dry-out and keeping your nib ready the moment inspiration strikes.

Gasket Ring

A fresh alignment ring machined for smoother action. It tightens up the feel just enough to make each click more assured, precise and sound great. No more rattling sounds.

Converter Collar (Brass)

Adds a touch of heft to the writing experience. This drop-in brass component gives your Phantom a more grounded, substantial balance without changing its silhouette.  It also prevents the accidental gasket dislodging completely.

Replacement Gaskets

Please note: We are not charging for the Upgrade Kit itself. It’s completely free for anyone who can visit our office or arrange a pickup.

The $7.50 fee is only to help partially offset international shipping costs from India, which are significantly higher. (Within India, we’ve reduced the charge since shipping is cheaper.)

To ensure the upgrade remains effectively free for our Kickstarter backers, we are giving store credit of the same value — so the amount you pay is fully returned to you.

Additionally, we will soon be releasing the .STL files so you can choose to 3D print the parts yourself if you prefer.

PS: If you have access to a 3D printer we are happy to share the .stl files for the Gasket Ring, Converter Collar, Gasket Insertion Tool & Clip Removal Tool so that you can 3D print these yourselves.
